HELOC as inflation continues to ease
Smith Rowe joined Fulham earlier this month in a club-record transfer from Arsenal, with the deal worth an initial £27m with a further £7m in performance-based add-ons.
Smith Rowe came through Arsenal’s academy and joined the club at the age of 10. However, Silva says that while it was difficult for him to part with his former club, it was his desire to join the “project” at Fulham that made the Portuguese coach push hard for his signature.
“The thing that made me happy and made me fight to have him with us was his decision to leave Arsenal,” Silva said. “You know how long he was there. It was not an easy decision to take.
